I am planning on swapping the head on my b5.5 Passat. Instead of staying with my AWM head, I decided to upgrade to a larger port (but still OEM) head made for my engine. Essentially its OEM+
But I’ve never done this before, so I wanted to get some advice and see that I have everything together parts wise.
So far this is my list:
AEB Cylinder Head
AEB Intake Manifold
Camshaft Kit
Camshaft Set
Exhaust Manifold
Head Gasket Kit
Valve Seats
Timing Belt Kit (might as well)
Serpentine belt kit (again- might as well...)
Springs
Valves
Spring Retainers
AEB Injectors
AEB Fuel rail
Waterpump
Repair Manuals

While you’ve got the timing belt off, front crankshaft seal.

Sorry! 20v 1.8t.
I didn’t thing it really mattered, I figured most cars need pretty much the same thing. I just copied and pasted this from my Excel Spreadsheet of costs, and links.
